So… there’s this self portrait contest right? I say to myself, “self, you need to enter that contest.” After all, the grand prize is 6 months accommodations in NY or $7007. Not a bad deal at all.

I had to come up with something unique, funny and slightly demented, cause that’s just what I do. Oh and sufficiently self deprecating. AND it had to relate to what I do.

Special thanks to Suzanne Tran for her creative input and all around help pulling this off.

I always liked this shoot… I got to the clients home in a very exclusive gated community. They took me to the basement and I was more than a little surprised with their collection of snakes. So of course I had to use one as a prop.

This was Kealea’s first time modeling but hopefully not her last. You never know how someone’s going to do when they get in front of the camera but she really did a great job. I have a few more that I’ll be posting soon.

From a shoot I did a while ago. The model did an excellent job considering I kept throwing curve balls like “sit in the pink chair” and “show more leg in that skirt … I mean kilt lad”

I did this shoot for a client who owns a hair salon. She had each stylist who participated find their own model and style the models hair. I shot them all against the same blue background. The stylists did a great job on model selection and props. I’ll be posting a couple more from this shoot in the next couple of weeks.
